Making Good Things Happen in 2024

Updated: Oct 31, 2023

What makes you believe that good things will happen for you and your career in the new year?

How do you prepare for it?

If you last thought about your professional self while studying for your licensure exam or job searching, you deserve better for yourself and your career. Burnout workshops, job search tips, and #linkedin optimization articles are not enough. "You didn't come this far to only go this far."

Are you ready to design and activate the career pathway and life you desire?

I created GROW Development Institute to be your professional self-care and development ally.

What are you waiting for?

ACTIVITY

  • Step 1 : Take a moment today and list the things you'd like to see happen in the new year and beyond. Include attributes you'd like to gain, your intentions, wishes, dreams, hopes and goals.

  • Step 2: Make a commitment to yourself and to proactive professional self-care and development. This means including professional self-care and development in your schedule (regularly and with intention.) Not sure how to do this? Check out GROW Resources and send me an email tracey@professionalselfcare.com to schedule a complementary professional discovery today.

  • Step 3: Accept responsibility for your actions and make an accountability agreement, a way of tracking your progress and ultimately increasing the likelihood of success. Maybe you need to enlist a colleague as an accountability partner, find a professional support group/community and or hire a professional coach? You are invited to connect on LinkedIn with the GROW Community of social workers and other interdisciplinary professionals around the topics of professional self-care and development.
