Communication Skills Matter for Every Job

There's more to this communication thing than you might realize.


As a professional it can seem like a weird thing to struggle with communication — it’s something we all learned to do at such a young age we can’t even remember it.


This is my encouragement to you ---> Don't underestimate communication's importance in your life and work.


Nearly every job posting contains the words “strong communication skills” or “effective communication skills.”


Communicating well requires skills.



✅ Figure out which skills you want to work on.

✅ Ask for help.

✅ Consider taking a class or working with a coach.

✅ Educate yourself on the communication obstacles faced by others.

✅ Practice, practice, practice.





The time is NOW - Effective communication across channels and platforms is becoming increasingly valuable as teams become more geographically dispersed and companies prioritize teamwork.
